University of Miami and the Chinese-American Academy of Sciences are sending Dr. Vladimir Dinets to China to study its nature and culture. This information and photographs will be used by Vladimir to write a book about China.
Vladimir Dinets is a well-known biologist, traveler, photographer and writer. His first book about China, written in 1996, is very popular in many countries, and has helped many people around the world to better understand and know the people of China, its ancient culture and beautiful nature.
Vladimir is travelling on his own limited budget. His difficult and sometimes dangerous work requires visiting little-known areas, studying large wild animals, camping for many days in very remote places. Please help him in his long journey in search of knowledge, understanding and friendship.
